About MANSA
The Malaysian National Society of Audiologists (MANSA), or Persatuan Audiologist Kebangsaan Malaysia, is the professional association representing Audiologists in Malaysia. MANSA is committed to advancing the profession of Audiology and promoting high-quality audiological services for individuals with hearing, tinnitus and balance-related conditions.
MANSA works closely with relevant government agencies, professional bodies, healthcare institutions and other stakeholders to contribute to the development and enhancement of legislation, standards, guidelines and professional practices related to Audiology and hearing healthcare in Malaysia.
The association supports the continuous professional development of Audiologists, promotes education and research in Audiology, encourages professional collaboration, and raises public awareness of hearing, tinnitus and balance health.
MANSA also continues to support the implementation of the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774) and the development of the Allied Health Professions framework, contributing to the strengthening of professional standards, governance and practice within Audiology.
As an affiliate member of the International Society of Audiology (ISA), MANSA is committed to professional excellence, international collaboration and the continued advancement of Audiology.

History
The development of Audiology in Malaysia spans more than three decades, reflecting the growth and evolution of the profession and audiological services in the country.
The journey towards establishing MANSA began in May 2009, when more than 40 Audiologists from various areas of Audiology came together and formed a Protem Committee. This initiative marked an important step towards bringing Audiologists together under a professional association with a collective voice for the advancement of the profession.
The Malaysian National Society of Audiologists (MANSA) was officially formed on 24 September 2010. Since its establishment, MANSA has provided a professional platform for Audiologists across Malaysia and has supported the development of the profession through professional advocacy, education, research, collaboration and public awareness.
Over the years, MANSA has worked with relevant agencies, professional bodies, healthcare institutions and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of Audiology and audiological services in Malaysia.
